Strata Panels UK have just produced over 80
display plinths for the Ashmolean Museum for their Heracles to Alexander The Great
Exhibition, featuring Treasures From The Royal Capital of Macedon, a
Hellenic Kingdom in the Age of Democracy. Strata has made the bases and
stands using Forex which meets the museums’ requirement (British Standard BS903)
for corrosiveness as initiated by Andrew Oddy in the 1970s, meaning that
there is minimal deleterious interaction between materials and arteacts.
